Surge Arrester Schneider Electric

Surge Arrester is a tool that can protect electrical equipment from voltage or electric current drivers caused by external forces (such as lightning) or internal forces. Generally, this tool is installed at the entry point of the electrical system, which aims to protect the entire electrical system from potential electrical damage caused by sudden surges of electric current.

Surge Arrester Function:

• Channeling high currents or excessive electrical energy to the ground
• Limiting voltage on electrical equipment
• Protecting electrical equipment from damage due to excessive voltage
